Hello there! I am Amorie Pearson...
After being a part time model for a few years I decided to try the other side of the lens. I first started doing Make up, Hair and Photography as a hobby just because I love anything to do with beauty and style. I also love meeting new people and have a passion to uplift others. I soon realized that I knew how to bring out the best version of the person in front of my camera… this is how I discovered the gift that God has given me.
When passion and purpose collide, it makes you feel alive. I decided to take it seriously and make it a career.
I do photography full time, I do all types of photoshoots, including Maternity, Newborn, Family, Couple Weddings, Products, Corporate Shoots, Content Creation and Videography. I have been trained to do Make up Professionally by the owner of Halouw Makeup Academy, Louise Volschenk. I do one on one makeup classes and workshops. I’ve done a styling course with Werner Wessels and I do most of my client’s hair.
The first year that I did my business full time, I had two Huisgenoot covers and a few more Magazine covers in the years to follow. I have photographed hundreds of Women and I have worked with many influential women in the beauty industry including Rolene Strauss, Melinda Bam, Liesl Laurie, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters to name a few. I am also the Official Beauty
Photographer for Mrs South Africa.
Why Boudoir?
This is a question I get MANY times. And honestly, Boudoir Photography found me. Being a woman, I know how critical we are of ourselves, sometimes what we see in the mirror does not align with the truth of what we look like or even who we are. I give all the glory to God, because He gave me a talent to capture beauty in a way that sometimes even surprises me. I decided to take on this niche market, and help women see themselves through a different perspective. It is amazing what Make up, hair, posing guidance and faith can do. Yes, it is an amazing gift for your partner, but this is mostly about you. When we feel good about ourselves, we make better partners and we show up in the world differently.

Make Up & Hair
At the Amorie Arts Studio, we provide professional make up and
basic hair styling services. This gives us time to bond before your photoshoot.
With lots of laughs and chats, you will feel comfortable and relaxed
by the time we start with your actual photoshoot. Make up will enhance your beauty that is already there and it will help you to feel extra sexy and fabulous for you photoshoot.
What to Expect...
“All you need to do is show up with your outfits...I will take care of the rest!” - Amorie
Once you arrive at the studio, you will be greeted with something to drink.
If you include it in your package, your make up & hair will be done professionally.
We suggest you bring the outfits you love, we will go through it before the
shoot and decide which ones to use and which ones to loose.
We will decide on the look that you are going for, discuss ideas if you have any in mind.
I will plan your outfits and poses. I have different settings in my studio that will create
unique looks within your photoshoot.
I use flattering lighting & retouching. I guide you with every
single pose down to your fingertips to get the perfect photo.
There is nothing to worry about... you are in good hands!
